According to Ty Dolla $ign, this song is all about “showing your girl that she deserves only the finest things in life” and he couldn’t think of a better person to join him than Minaj.
“I wanted to put a female on the song and Nicki was the only voice I could hear on it. So when I sent her the record and she sent her verse right back, I knew we had a hit on our hands. Love to the Queen for blessing this song with another iconic verse!”, said the rapper in a press release.
This song marks the third collaboration between the duo, following “Swalla” with Jason Derulo and “Hot Girl Summer” with Megan Thee Stallion. It will be featured on Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming third studio album Dream House.
