In honor of National Coming Out Day, 20th Century Studios released the official trailer for the film version of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is based on the real-life story of Jamie Campbell, who came out at 14 years old, and inspired the BBC Three documentary Jamie: Drag Queen at 16 that was later adapted for the West End in 2017.

In the trailer, Jamie announces that he plans on attending the school prom in a dress, and he faces prejudice and has to learn to be himself. Throughout it all, he’s certain that he has to be a drag queen, so he makes a drag persona and stages a drag show.
