If Idris Elba is practicing to be a secret agent, he’s doing a rather good job.
Speculation has been rife that the English actor will be donning a tuxedo and taking on the role of James Bond after Daniel Craig vacates the role.
With the incumbent 007 confirming that the upcoming Bond 25 will be his last, deliberation over who will take over as the suave spy has amped into full swing.
It appears as though producers have also been mulling the candidates, with Barbara Broccoli this week telling director Antoine Fuqua that it is time for a non-white actor to be Bond.
“Idris could do it if he was in shape. You need a guy with a physically strong presence. Idris has that,” said The Magnificent Seven filmmaker.
Idris himself now seems to be dropping hints, with his latest tweet:
