Fans lost it when Netflix announced that Season 4 of Bridgerton will focus on Benedict’s love story—and we finally know who’ll play his love interest. Halo star Yerin Ha joined Netflix’s hit period drama as the mysterious Lady in Silver aka Sophie Beckett.
After serving as a sidekick and comic relief in the previous three seasons, Benedict will finally get his chance to shine in the spotlight in Season 4. The bohemian second son of the Bridgerton family doesn’t seem very keen on the idea of settling down, until meeting a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.
Netflix didn’t share any details about this mystery character, but Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel An Offer From a Gentleman gave us all the clues. Sophie Beckett is an illegitimate daughter of an earl and one of his maids, who refused to publicly acknowledge her as his daughter.
Yerin Ha will join Luke Thompson as the lead of the upcoming Season 4, and her resume has been pretty impressive even before her casting became official. She got her big break with the role in the Paramount+ series Halo, and will soon appear in HBO’s prequel series Dune: Prophecy.
