A whole new generation of high school students in the elite New York City area are about to come under scrutiny from the Queen who knows everybody’s business.
Original executive producers, Joshua Safran, Josh Schwartz, and Stephanie Savage, will all be involved in the spin-off that will be set eight years after the adventures of Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald, and Dan Humphrey.
The new streaming service from Warner Bros., HBO Max, will broadcast the spin-off and has already ordered 10 episodes, each of which is an hour-long.
There is currently no word on whether any members of the original cast will be back on board for the new series, but a girl can dream.
