Adele’s last single “Easy on Me” has been ruling the charts for quite some time, and it was just a matter of time before its follow-up “Oh My God” got a chance to shine in the spotlight. This song now comes with an amazing music video that serves some major Snow White vibes.
Adele brought out everything from lavish outfits and backup dancers to burning chairs, shiny apples, and horses for her latest video. “Oh My God” pays a clear homage to Snow White, and it’s up to you to decide if Adele is supposed to channel the titular heroine or the evil queen in this scenario.
Adele took to Instagram to thank everyone involved in this video for helping her get it made—especially the director Sam Brown who made the experience super-nostalgic because it’s been a decade since they collaborated on “Rolling in the Deep”.
“We filmed this one on the day ‘Easy On Me’ dropped, there were a million things going on all at once. But the attention to detail from the crew was borderline hilarious – thank you so much for your patience and pulling it all together it was a lot of fun,” wrote Adele.
“Oh My God” was originally released as the second single from her chart-topping album 30, which went on to become the best-selling album of 2021 following its release in November.
