The third film in the Deadpool franchise is coming our way this summer, and it’s shaping up to be one wild ride! The first full trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine is here and it sees Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman joining forces to save the MCU from doom.
Deadpool & Wolverine was years in the making, and it will mark the first Deadpool film in the MCU. The first trailer sees Wade Wilson taking many digs at Marvel, while also trying to convince Wolverine to join him on a mission to save the MCU, after being pulled from a peaceful life in his timeline by the Time Variance Authority.
Deadpool & Wolverine will feature many familiar faces – and we’re not just talking about Reynolds and Jackman. Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Brianna Hildebrand will return as their respective characters from the previous Deadpool movies, while Jennifer Garner will be back as Elektra. Emma Corrin will play the film’s main villain, Cassandra Nova, while Matthew Macfadyen joined the cast as Paradox.
Deadpool & Wolverine is hitting the theatres on July 26, as the latest film in the MCU’s Phase Five. It will be followed by Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts next year.
