If you’re a fan of JK Rowling’s author alter ego Robert Galbraith of the Corcoran Strike book series, or just a fan of Cuckoo’s Calling, the BBC show adapted from the books, there’s good news for you. The author only recently revealed the release date of the next book in the series and also teased a cover.

According to Robert Galbraith’s Twitter account, the next installment in the Corcoran Strike book series, rather aptly titled Lethal White, will be released on 18 September this year. The book will follow the three previously published books – The Cuckoo’s Calling, The Silkworm and Career of Evil – and their story of a private investigator Corcoran Strike and his attempts to solve mysteries alongside his assistant, Robin Ellacoat.

Lethal White will follow the pair as they unravel the mysteries surrounding a crime witnessed by Billy, a troubled young man. According to Little, Brown, the book’s publisher, the story is full of twists, some of which will involve London’s backstreets and a secret location inside the British Parliament.

Along with a striking green cover of the book, the author also announced that the books can now be pre-ordered.
