The Witcher will go through many changes when it returns for Season 4, and we finally know what to expect from its next chapter. Netflix teased its return with a new teaser, which gives us a first look at Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia.

Henry Cavill led The Witcher as Geralt of Rivia for the first three seasons, before deciding to lay down his sword and exit the series. Liam Hemsworth agreed to jump on board as his replacement, and he made his debut in Netflix’s “first look” teaser for Season 4.

“As a Witcher fan, I’m over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia. Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I’m honored that he’s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf’s blades for the next chapter of his adventure,” said Hemsworth when his casting was first announced.

The new teaser doesn’t reveal too much about the Season 4 plot, but it finally gives us a glimpse of Hemsworth in costume as Geralt of Rivia. He’s currently shooting the fourth season in the UK with the rest of The Witcher cast, led by Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan.

Season 4 will shoot back-to-back with Season 5, which has recently been announced as the grand finale of the hit fantasy epic series.
