It has been over forty years since Elvis Presley left this world but his legacy has been stronger than ever lately. Just last week, it was announced that the talented Austin Bulter will be playing the late legend in the upcoming biopic about the star’s life.
Now, Netflix has announced that they too will be bringing back Elvis – in the form of a cartoon character. The premise of the show? Elvis is an undercover agent tasked with the mission to keep America safe.
The show, titled Agent King is being co-created by Elvis’ widow, Priscilla Presley. She said: “From the time Elvis was a young boy he always dreamed of being the superhero fighting crime and saving the world. Agent King lets him do just that.”
She added: “My co-creator John Eddie and I are so excited to be working with Netflix and Sony Animation on this amazing project and getting the chance to show the world an Elvis they haven’t seen before.”
The release date is yet to be confirmed.. but we will be sure to update you when we know more.
