There’s always a lot of anticipation surrounding a new season of Bridgerton, and Season 3 will reunite us with our favorite will-they-won’t-they couple. The first look at Penelope and Colin in the upcoming season is here to set the stage for their blooming love story.
After spending most of her life pinning after Colin, Penelope gave up hope they’ll ever be together after overhearing his coarse remarks about her at the end of Season 2. She decided to focus on finding herself a husband, but her lack of confidence came in the way—until Colin decided to help her out in an attempt to repair their friendship.
In addition to Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan in the lead roles, Season 3 will also star Jonathan Bailey, Ruth Gemmell, Claudia Jessie, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, and Simone Ashley. Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor will sit this one out, after both announcing they’re leaving the series following the end of Seasons 1 and 2, respectively.
Season 3 of Bridgerton still doesn’t have a release date, but the wait for this series doesn’t feel so long because Netflix gave us an equally exciting spinoff in the meantime. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story premiered on Netflix back in May to positive reviews, and it chronicled the beginning of Queen Charlotte’s marriage to King George and rise to prominence.
