Taylor-Joy’s character Grace Bernard is the daughter of a billionaire and a ruthless social climber Simon Artemis, who had an affair with her mother and then left them to fend for themselves.

Emma Moran (Extraordinary) serves as lead writer of this series, and she’ll executive produce it alongside Taylor-Joy, Mackie, and Sid Gentle’s Sally Woodward Gentle, Lizzie Rusbridger, and Lee Morris.

Taylor-Joy previously collaborated with Netflix on The Queen’s Gambit, which earned her an Emmy nomination, in addition to a Golden Globe and a SAG Award. Her recent credits include Dune: Part Two and Furiosa, and she’s attached to Scott Derrickson’s action drama The Gorge.
