The post BTS Reunite to Celebrate Tenth Anniversary With New Single “Take Two” appeared first on thestarsworldwide.com.
]]>According to the band’s label, this song sees “the group entering its second chapter”, and they recorded it with their fans in mind. The release of “Take Two” is meant to convey their appreciation toward the Army, for all the love and support they’ve been showering them with for an entire decade.
Members of BTS went their separate ways last year, and they’re focusing on solo projects while completing their mandatory South Korean military service. Jin and J-Hope are still serving at the time of the official release of “Take Two”, but that didn’t stop all the seven members from reuniting and recording their vocals for this song.
BTS is expected to reunite in 2025, and they’ve given us multiple amazing new albums since announcing their hiatus. We’ve seen several members drop solo albums in the past few months, including Suga’s D-Day, J-Hope’s Jack in the Box, Jimin’s Face, and RM’s Indigo, and they’ve also joined forces for the song “The Planet” from the soundtrack for the South Korean animated series Bastions.

“Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment)” is the group’s first Korean-language single since “Life Goes On” in 2020. It’s also one of the three new songs featured on their anthology album, in addition to “Run BTS” and “For Youth”.
Proof hit the shelves on June 10, and it features a total of 48 tracks across three CDs, including the band’s biggest hits, demos, and unreleased songs. They described it as “an anthology album that embodies the history of BTS” in an official statement announcing its release.
In addition to dropping a music video for “Yet to Come”, they’re also promoting this record with the “Proof Live” event taking place on June 13.

]]>“Permission to Dance” is the K-pop band’s third English-language single, following the success of “Dynamite” and “Butter”. When it was first announced, the group’s label Big Hit Music promised this song “will make your heart beat to the rhythm of BTS’s positive energy.”
Another thing that got everyone talking about “Permission to Dance” is Ed Sheeran’s songwriting credit. The British hitmaker confirmed his collaboration with BTS during an appearance on Most Requested Live, and described the band members as “super cool guys”.
“Permission to Dance” serves as the follow-up to the group’s hit single “Butter”. Since its release on May 21st, this song debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 and spent six consecutive weeks at No. 1, becoming the band’s longest-running No. 1 hit on the chart.

]]>Following its release on May 21st, “Butter” easily debuted atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and it hasn’t left that spot for an entire month. Four weeks later, this catchy track continues its reign and it bested the three-week rule of “Dynamite” on the Billboard Hot 100 last year.
In an interview with Billboard’s Tetris Kelly, BTS member RM described “Butter” as the band’s “summer anthem”. He explained their main goal with this song was to release “a more upbeat, fresh dance-pop track” that’s all about “the positive vibes and upbeat energy”.
“Butter” has been breaking records for BTS ever since its release date. It had YouTube’s biggest music video premiere with 3.9 million peak concurrent viewers and became the most-viewed YouTube video in the first 24 hours, with approximately 108.2 million views.

It was also a big night for Olivia Rodrigo, who was crowned as the best new artist, in addition to winning awards for song of the year and push performance of the year with her breakout hit “Drivers License”. BTS walked away with three awards—group of the year, best K-pop, and song of the summer with “Butter”.

]]>The post BTS Ask for “Permission to Dance” in Their Latest Single appeared first on thestarsworldwide.com.
