]]>The Outsiders came into the night with 12 nominations and came out victorious in four categories, including the best musical. Angelina Jolie picked up her first Tony Award as one of the producers of this project, after serving as one of the presenters at the ceremony.
She wasn’t the only A-lister to walk away with a Tony this year. Jonathan Groff and Daniel Radcliffe won acting accolades for their respective performances in the musical Merrily We Roll Along, along with Jeremy Strong for An Enemy of the People and Sarah Paulson for Appropriate.
When it comes to the rest of the categories, Stereophonic was the biggest winner of the night with a total of five awards, including best play. Merrily We Roll Along and The Outsiders collected four each, followed by Appropriate with three, including the best revival of a play.
The 2024 Tony Awards took place on June 16 at the Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater in New York, with Ariana DeBose hosting for the third year in a row.

]]>According to its official logline, “Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts invites fans on a magical first-person journey through one of the most beloved film franchises of all time as it reunites Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and other esteemed cast members.”
The first trailer features the Golden Trio and several more cast members that made us fall in love with this franchise including newcomers Tom Felton, Bonnie Wright, Matthew Lewis, James, and Oliver Phelps and seasoned veterans Helena Bonham Carter, Ralph Fiennes, Jason Isaacs, and Gary Oldman.
The first trailer sees them all come back together at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London and reminisce about the good old days. They get to share touching stories about the way this franchise impacted their lives and helped them form everlasting friendships and make unforgettable memories.
Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts will start streaming on HBO Max on January 1, marking the anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which came out in November 2001.

]]>It has been almost 4 years since the world lost one of its funniest individuals when the Dead Poets Society actor took his own life in his California home in August 2014.
Sotheby’s auction house has now confirmed that several items belonging to the comedian will be going under the hammer in October.
The belongings include several pieces of artwork which include sculptures and street art by Banksy, Shepard Fairey, and Invader; a collection of over 40 watches which the Oscar winner owned; film and sports memorabilia; as well as a series of bicycles.
Also amongst the items is the famous Gryffindor robe worn by Daniel Radcliffe’s titular character in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone which is estimated to be worth between $10,000 and $15,000.
Part of the proceeds from the Creating a Stage lot will be donated to charities supported by Williams and his widow, movie producer Marsha Garces Williams, such as the Juilliard School, Wounded Warrior Project, the Challenged Athletes Foundation and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
