Starring Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan and Edgar Ramírez, the feature sees rival female agents bond together against a common enemy. 

“When a top-secret weapon falls into mercenary hands, wild card CIA agent Mason Mace’ Brown (Chastain) will need to join forces with rival badass German agent Marie (Kruger), former MI6 ally and cutting-edge computer specialist Khadijah (Nyong’o), and skilled Colombian psychologist Graciela (Cruz) on a lethal, breakneck mission to retrieve it, while also staying one-step ahead of a mysterious woman, Lin Mi Sheng (Bingbing) who is tracking their every move,” reads the official description. 

The Simon Kinberg-directed feature was shot last summer in Paris, London and Morocco.

Netflix has dropped the first full trailer for Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey. The musical adventure hails from writer and director David E. Talbert.

Set in the town of Cobbleton the film follows toymaker Jeronicus Jangle, played by Forrest Whitaker, a brilliant and inventive legendary toymaker. But when his trusted apprentice (Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his granddaughter (Madalen Mills) to awaken the magic and heal old wounds. 

“Twenty years in the making … excited to share first look photos of my new film Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey—Netflix’s first original live-action musical,” Talbert shared on Instagram.

The film features original songs by John Legend, Philip Lawrence, and Davy Nathan. It also stars Anika Noni Rose, Kieron Dyer, Justin Cornwell, Lisa Davina Phillip, and Hugh Bonneville.

The film hits Netflix on November 13.

The streaming giant has unveiled the first trailer for the stylized CG animated film The Willoughbys.

Based on the book by Lois Lowry, the film centers on four Willoughby children who are convinced they’d be better off raising themselves. The children hatch a sneaky plan to send their selfish parents on vacation, and with the help of an eccentric nanny they embark on an adventure to find the true meaning of family.

The film features a stellar voice cast including Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Alessia Cara, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski, Séan Cullen, and Ricky Gervais.

The Willoughbys will be released on Netflix on April 22.

Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn are almost back to your television screen with their new upcoming fashion design competition on Amazon. 

In the new series, the former host and the former mentor of Project Runway, will give 12 designers a chance to win $1 million, a mentorship with Amazon Fashion head Christine Beauchamp, and an opportunity to create an exclusive clothing line on Amazon. 

The trailer gives a peek at the 10-episode series, which will feature Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Joseph Altuzarra, Carine Roitfeld and Chiara Ferragni.

Making the Cut is set to premiere on March 27th.

MGM has unveiled the first look at its upcoming Aretha Franklin biopic. 

The minute-long clip features Jennifer Hudson as Franklin singing a verse from the title song, nearly a cappella.

Hudson, a Grammy and Oscar-winning songstress, was handpicked for the role by Franklin herself, who passed away more than a year ago at 76 years old. 

“Much R.E.S.P.E.C.T to the queen of soul,” Hudson tweeted alongside the teaser on Friday.

Forest Whitaker, Marlon Wayans, Audra McDonald, Marc Maron, Tituss Burgess, Saycon Sengbloh, Hailey Kilgore, Tate Donovan, Heather Headley, Skye Dakota Turner and Mary J. Blige also star in the Liesl Tommy-directed feature.
