After months of anticipation, the Grammy Awards finally honored our favorite music stars on Sunday night, and the list of winners is pretty impressive. The night’s most-nominated artist Jon Batiste walked away with five awards, but Silk Sonic was right behind with four.

Batiste received a total of 11 nods at this year’s Grammys, but the album of the year was the only award that he picked up in the main field. He also picked up two trophies in the American Roots categories, in addition to winning the award for the best music video for “Freedom” and best score soundtrack, shared with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for their work on Soul.

Silk Sonic, the super-duo formed by Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, came into the night with four nominations and won all the awards it was nominated for. They owe their triumph to their hit single “Leave the Door Open”, which won trophies for record and song of the year, best R&B performance, and best R&B song.

The list of major winners with three awards each included Olivia Rodrigo, D’Mile, Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, and CeCe Winans. The 64th Annual Grammy Awards were held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3 with Trevor Noah hosting the show.

The Grammy Awards wouldn’t be the same without amazing performances by our favorite artists and we finally know who’s going to grace the stage at the upcoming ceremony. The first round of performers is out and it includes the likes of Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and BTS.

Eilish and Rodrigo are obvious choices since they’re both nominated for seven awards, including album, record, and song of the year. Eilish is in the running with her second studio album Happier Than Ever, while Rodrigo owes her nominations to her debut album Sour and chart-topping single “Drivers License”. BTS has been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with their smash hit “Butter”.

Brothers Osborne, Brandi Carlile, and Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow are also set to perform at the Grammys with the rest of the performers yet to be announced. Lil Nas X and Carlile have been nominated for five awards, while Brothers Osborne and Harlow received two nods each.

The 2022 Grammy Awards are taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 3, with Trevor Noah serving as a host. The list of major nominees includes Jon Batiste with eleven nominations, and Doja Cat, H.E.R., and Justin Bieber with eight each.

If you’ve needed another proof of Beyoncé’s absolute domination of the music industry, this year’s Grammy Awards will give you one. The R&B icon topped the list of winners with four awards and became the most rewarded artists in Grammy history.

Beyoncé topped the list of Grammy winners after dominating in four categories—the best rap performance and rap song with the remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage”, the best R&B performance with “Black Parade”, and the best music video with “Brown Skin Girl”. By doing so, she brought her total to 28 wins, tying Quincy Jones as the artists with the second-most wins.

Beyoncé was closely followed by her “Savage” collaborator Megan Thee Stallion, who collected three awards, including the best new artist. The general field was dominated by female artists, as women collected all four big awards of the night.

Taylor Swift became the first female artist to win the album of the year three times thanks to her latest victory with Folklore. Billie Eilish collected the record of the year award with “Everything I Wanted”, while H.E.R. had to beat tough competition to win the song of the year with “I Can’t Breathe”.

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards took place on March 14th, with Trevor Noah hosting the show.

The Grammys were about so much more than just awards this year. Following the unexpected death of Lakers icon Kobe Bryant, the stars came together to honor the basketball icon.

Throughout the night Bryant’s presence was felt — his jersey hung on Staples rafters and Lil Nas X and Run D.M.C wore it during their performances. A tribute was also given for L.A rapper Nipsey Hussle, who won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance, and Bryant was mentioned during it.

Moving on to the winners of the night, 18-year-old Billie Eilish won in four categories – Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Best New Artist, and Song of the Year.

Lizzo also had an amazing night. After she was nominated in eight categories, she went home with three Grammys for Best Traditional R&B Performance, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Clark also won three Grammys in the Blues and Rock categories for This Land. A Star is Born won for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media and Best Song Written For Visual Media for “I’ll Never Love Again,” HBO’s Chernobyl won Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media, and Beyoncé’s Homecoming won Best Music Film Prize.

The most memorable performances were Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Camilla Cabello, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani’s duet, Demi Lovato’s return to the Grammys, and Usher’s tribute to Prince.
