Rian Johnson’s “case-of-the-week” murder mystery series follows the trials and tribulations of a casino worker Charlie Cale. She’s forced to go on a run after her special talent to detect lies gets her in trouble, and she uses her ability to solve a string of crimes while traveling across the United States.

Each episode of Poker Face features a different setting and a group of characters, and it served as a showcase for many amazing guest stars in Season 1. Judith Light won an Emmy for her guest role, while the cast also included the likes of Adrien Brody, Ron Perlman, Chloë Sevigny, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stephanie Hsu, Jameela Jamil, Charles Melton, and Ellen Barkin.

The trend of casting acclaimed actors in guest starring roles will continue in the upcoming Season 2. It will star Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad), Katie Holmes (Ray Donovan), Gaby Hoffmann (Transparent), and Kumail Nanjiani (Welcome to Chippendales), in addition to Natasha Lyonne in the lead role.

This Star Wars spin-off series will be set 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, and it will feature a couple of familiar faces. Christensen is returning to the role of Darth Vader, while Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse will once again portray Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will also feature a series of brand-new characters, played by some of Hollywood’s most critically acclaimed rising stars. Indira Varma, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie are among those joining the cast.

Disney+ is yet to share the official release date of this series, but filming is underway and it’s set to start this month. Deborah Chow, who previously worked on the first season of The Mandalorian, is set to direct Obi-Wan Kenobi.
