]]>No Way Home hit the theatres in the US on December 17th and it took it less than two weeks to reach this milestone. To make the whole thing even more impressive, it’s one of only a few movies of the modern era to ever reach $1 billion without premiering in China.
No Way Home is the third-fastest title in history to cross a one billion mark on the global box office, after Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. It’s not the only major record where it trails behind other Marvel movies. It also had the second-highest opening day and second-highest domestic box office opening behind Endgame.
Spider-Man: No Way Home sees Peter Parker (Tom Holland) face many hardships after his identity as Spider-Man is revealed to the entire world. He asks Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to reverse the past, but his botched spell breaks open the multiverse and invites many familiar faces into Parker’s world.

]]>Uncharted follows the adventures of the young street-smart fortune hunter Nathan Drake (Holland), who joins forces with his wisecracking mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Wahlberg), as they embark on a dangerous pursuit to find “the greatest treasure never found”.
Uncharted is based on a series of bestselling video games of the same name created by Naughty Dog. This isn’t the first attempt to adapt it, Sony Pictures has actually been developing the project since 2008, with Nathan Fillion and Chris Pratt in talks to star.
After years in development hell, Uncharted will see the light of day on February 18, 2022. In addition to Holland and Wahlberg, it’s also set to star Sophia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas.
Uncharted went through several major delays, even before the COVID-19 pandemic, and Sony made sure to secure streaming rights for the projects. They signed deals with both Disney and Netflix, but the film is expected to only be available after its theatrical and home media windows.
