]]>This series chronicles Wednesday Addams’ (Jenna Ortega) high school years, so what kind of teenage shenanigans is she up to? Trying to master her emerging psychic ability, thwarting a mysterious killing spree, and solving the mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago… You know, just the usual Addams family stuff.
In addition to taking us inside Nevermore Academy, the new trailer introduces us to a few exciting new characters. Fred Armisen hilariously takes on the role of Uncle Fester, while Christina Ricci appears as an original character Marilyn Thornhill, after rising to prominence playing Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Addams Family Values during the 90s.
The cast of Wednesday also includes Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), and Gwendoline Christie (Principal Larissa Weems). Tim Burton co-created the series alongside Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, who serve as showrunners. Wednesday will consist of eight episodes, set to premiere on Netflix on November 23.
