The Christian Breslauer-directed visual opens with Grande preparing a love potion for Badgley’s Max Starling, the new mayor of her city. When a stray cat comes through a window and breaks the bottle, Grande tries to fix the damage, before going full Catwoman on her love interest.

She breaks into Badgley’s home, but he falls for her before she’s even able to use the potion. The end credits show the duo living their happily ever after, with a bunch of cats by their side.

In addition to Badgley, the music video for “The Boy is Mine” also stars Brandy and Monica, whose 1998 hit of the same name served as inspiration for this song. They play a duo of news anchors announcing the mayor’s press conference at the start of the video.

The Recording Academy made the announcement Saturday, so it looks like both parties have put last year’s drama behind them, announcing that the 26-year-old singer will take to this year’s Grammys stage. 

“OFFICIAL: #ArianaGrande will perform at the #GRAMMYs Jan. 26,” The Recording Academy announced on their official Instagram account.

Grande also took to Twitter writing, “see you jan 26,” alongside a pic of herself with the writing, “Grammy Performer.”

She joins previously announced performers Aerosmith, Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. 

Grande is also nominated in five categories this year.

The Grammys will air live on Sunday, January 26th, with Alicia Keys returning for her second year as emcee.

The singer-songwriter, who’s currently on the road for her Sweetener tour has canceled her concert in Lexington, Kentucky due to illness. Grande’s next concert is scheduled for Tuesday, November 19 in Atlanta, however, it’s unclear whether she’ll make it or not. 

“Hi my loves. So I’m still very sick,” she shared on Instagram. “I’ve been sick since the last London show,” she wrote. “I don’t know how it’s possible but my throat and head are still in so much pain. I sound okay, I’m just in a lot of pain and it’s difficult to breathe during the show.” 

The God Is A Woman singer also thanked her fans for their understanding and support, “crying. i cant tell u how much i love and appreciate u all or like effectively express what a blessing it is to have u in my life.” She later added, “thank u for your kindness and love. wish i were with u today more than anything. u have no idea.”

The “7 Rings” singer gave her Arianators a bit of a scare recently when she published a brain scan she had recently had.

In her Instagram Story, the 25-year-old compared images of a normal, healthy brain and that of her own, which showed that she had suffered majorly from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The PTSD followed the devastating attack at Manchester Arena in 2017, where 22 people died during her concert as a result of a suicide bomber.

After revealing what she termed the “hilarious and terrifying” effects of PTSD, she wrote another message to her fans, apologizing for giving them a fright.

“Didn’t mean to startle anyone with my brain thingy,” Ariana wrote in another Instagram Story. “It just blew me away. I found it informative and interesting and wanted to encourage ya’ll to make sure you check on your brains / listen to your bodies / take care of yourselves too. I love science and seeing the physical reality of what’s going on in there was incredible to me. I mean, I feel it all the time, but seeing it is totally different and super cool. Someday, when I’m feeling ready or when I’m more healed up, we can talk more about it. I am constantly working on my health / learning how to process pain (aren’t we all). Everyday is different but I’m doing my best.”
