Marvel announced a bunch of new projects at this year’s Comic-Con, but none of them received more buzz than Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The first trailer for this highly-anticipated sequel is finally here, and it takes us back to the kingdom of Wakanda.

Following the tragic death of the Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman in 2020, Marvel bosses decided to switch up the plot of the upcoming sequel instead of recasting him. The events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever take place after King T’Challa’s death and show the leaders of Wakanda coming together to protect it.

Writer-director Ryan Coogler reflected on promoting the first Black Panther film at Comic-Con five years ago alongside Boseman and said that it’s going to be hard to follow that up. He also promised that Wakanda Forever was worth the wait and that it goes to new places in Wakanda and the MCU that we’ve never been to before.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is the final film of Marvel’s Phase Four, and it’s set to premiere on November 11.

Letitia Wright. Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett will reprise their roles from the first film, while Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, and Tenoch Huerta are set to join them.

2018 saw the release of a lot of movies — some good and some less than great. And a lot of those films were far from perfect.

In 1996, a British film buff created a website to recognize all the bloopers in Hollywood’s most famous offerings.

In the last 22 years, www.moviemistakes.com has become extremely popular with film fans and annually releases a list of films with the most mistakes.

According to the site, the film that suffered from the most continuity and editing errors was one of the most popular films of the year.

Avengers: Infinity War has over 25 mistakes to its name, making it the most error-riddled film of 2018.

The Marvel feature came ahead of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Ready Player One, which came second with 23 mistakes each.

Multiple mistakes were also found in Black Panther, Incredibles 2, and Venom.

Tsk tsk.

It’s been months since we’ve seen Black Panther for the first time, but it’s still giving us something to talk about. After 35 years of movie theaters being banned in Saudi Arabia, Black Panther will be the first movie to break with tradition.

A New Wave Of Progress In Saudi Arabia

The premiere of Black Panther will be held on April 18. This will be the first movie to be shown in theatres after the ultraconservative movement of the 1980’s. An AMC movie theatre will be showcasing the film in Riyahd by Disney’s Middle Eastern affiliate, Italia Film. The premiere showing will take place in a gorgeous building decked with marble bathrooms and over 500 leather seats in the Riyahd King Abdullah Financial District.

Saudi Arabia Movie Sales Expected To Soar

Within the next five years, AMC entertainment is expecting to open up 40 new movie theatres all over Saudi Arabia.

With 70 percent of their population under 30 and an overall population of 32 million, Saudi Arabia’s movie attendance is thought to be a big money maker for AMC. Many analysts speculate that Saudi Arabia could even be in the top ten revenue making countries for AMC, especially since 100 movie theatres are expected to be built by 2030.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is using the groundbreaking film Black Panther to move away from tradition.

With Infinity Wars out at the end of April, it’s the culmination of six years worth of teases and hints. Thanos is finally revealed and we see get some answers and probably more questions but what’s next for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

X-Men

Now that Disney owns Fox, hopefully, we’ll be seeing the X-Men introduced. MCU films are always brilliant, so introducing some of Marvel’s most loved characters not only make sense from a fans point of view but from a business point of view. Let’s see those mutants.

Secret Invasion

After Civil War and Infinity War, the next likely complete MCU event could be Secret Invasion. In this, a race of aliens called the Skrull infiltrating the superheroes of Earth with their shape-shifting abilities. Not knowing who is a Skrull, who is real and who they can trust will make an excellent film.

More Diversity

Black Panther was a huge success, showing characters of color definitely can hold their own in the superhero world. With the variety of characters in the Marvel comics, it’s only time before we see more diversity in the films too, including films lead by women, more persons of color and perhaps even LGBT characters.

After breaking box office records, the superhero epic is continuing its reign by scooping every award that’s up for grabs. Most recently, it won five shiny statues at the 2018 Saturn Awards.

Saturn Awards are presented by Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films and this year’s ceremony took place on June 27. Black Panther’s reign didn’t stop Blade Runner 2049 from taking the highest honor. Sequel to Ridley Scott’s classic film ended up winning Best Science Fiction Film award. Superhero movies usually aren’t nominated in that category, so Marvel’s smash-hit had to settle for being crowned Best Comic-to-Motion Picture.
