Unlike the Billboard Hot 100, which focuses solely on the U.S., this new chart will be based on weekly global streams and download sales from over 200 territories. According to Billboard’s senior vice president, Silvio Pietroluongo, its main goal is to be “reflective of a world view”.

Billboard’s first Global 200 chart was topped by Cardi B’s viral hit “WAP”. This song also topped the Billboard Hot 100 this week, and we’re expecting overlaps between these two charts will be common in the years to come.

In addition to Global 200, Billboard also introduced Billboard Global Excl. U.S. This new chart focuses on all territories outside the United States, and it was topped by Maluma’s “Hawái” during its inaugural week.

The Hustlers actress is the newest cast member of the Fast & Furious franchise which is currently filming its 9^th installment. 

News of Cardi’s addition was broken by Vin Diesel who shared it on his Instagram account. 

“I know I’m exhausted, we all gave every single thing we could for this movie, put it all on the table, put it all out there,” he said in the video. 

Alongside him sat the Finesse rapper who was dressed in black gloves and a black vest. 

“I’m tired, but I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, this is gonna be the best one,” she chimed in. 

Cardi’s role has not yet been revealed, but we do know that her scenes were shot in the UK and that she was present on the last day of filming. 

The Grammy award winner will be starring alongside Dame Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, and Ludacris, with Justin Lin directing. 

Fast & Furious 9 will be in theatres on May 22^nd, 2020.

Cardi has now decided to pay fans for their patience (see what we did there?) by releasing a banging music video!

Covered in bling, the 26 year old shakes what her momma gave her while strippers do their own thing and dollar bills fly.

The rapper also makes reference to her baby and can be seen holding a little bundle whom we can only assume is Kulture, her daughter with ex-husband Offset, who was born in July.

The trio have been announced as the judges on a new reality contest from Netflix which aims to find the best undiscovered hip-hop artist.

Rhythm + Flow will comprise of 10 hour-long episodes with auditions starting in the fall across the United States.

In each audition location, established rappers from that city will serve as guest judges alongside Cardi, T.I., and Chance, who will also executive produce the series with John Legend.

Let’s hope there are lots of spare microphones for all the anticipated mic drops…

The audience thought they were getting a first look at adorable baby Kulture Kiari, as Cardi B – who spectacularly opened the VMAs at Radio City Music Hall – held what looked like a baby wrapped in a blanket in her arms.

Sadly, baby Kulture was nowhere to be seen, as the Bodak Yellow star was actually holding a shiny Moon Person trophy instead. Savage!

While we (and we assume the rest of the audience) saw the funny side, Cardi B mentioned that husband and baby daddy Offset was not too amused…

“Set said ‘I was sooo mad, when I saw you on stage with that blanket. I thought you was going to show Kulture,’” Cardi B told her fans on Twitter after the show.

We don’t think anything will bring Cardi B down after last night’s VMAs though, as she walked away with an impressive three gongs.

Cardi B walked away with Song of the Summer award for “I Like It,” as well as the Collaboration award for “Dinero” with Jennifer Lopez and DJ Khaled and perhaps best of all, the coveted Best New Artist accolade.

The Bodak Yellow rapper hung out with none other than Kim Kardashian and Mama Kris on Saturday night at their Calabasas home.

Cardi let us in on the fun by posting pics and videos to her Instagram which included a tour of the 37-year-old’s home — deemed the “mausoleum” — and a clip of Cardi, Kim, and friends chilling in Kim’s massive closet while holding cut-out faces of themselves, Kris, and Kanye!

The new momma also posted a selfie of herself and the Kardashians, declaring that she was officially part of the “rich people club”!

The 25-year-old — who sported blue hit and a blue tracksuit top — also states that she is selling one of Kris’s napkins on eBay!

We assume she’s joking… but we do know she make money move.
