Netflix’s decision to renew the series for Season 3 and 4 comes on the heels of the success of the second season. It was watched for 107.6M hours in its first week alone, after returning to Netflix on December 22nd.
In addition to Lily Collins in the titular role, Emily in Paris also stars Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Camille Razat, and Kate Walsh, and it’s safe to expect they’ll return for the next chapter of the story.

Creator and executive producer Darren Star said he couldn’t be more proud of its success, and he’s excited to bring even more joy to their fans in the upcoming second season, which began production in the French capital. “From the beginning, we always wanted to create this beautiful cinematic view of Paris. The timing of the series release was fortuitous for us as everyone around the world was able to become armchair travelers and live vicariously through our cast,” said Star in a statement.
Emily in Paris centers on a young ambitious American woman who moves to Paris to work at a French marketing firm and tries to improve it by bringing an American point of view. ]]>David Fincher’s retelling of the turbulent production of this cinematic masterpiece centers on Herman J. Mankiewicz, as he struggles to get screenwriting credit for the script he co-wrote with Orson Welles.
Mank is one of the most personal projects of Fincher’s career since it’s based on a script by his late father, Howard Fincher. It was shot entirely in black and white, and it stars Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Arliss Howard, Tom Burke, and Charles Dance.
Netflix is yet to confirm the official release date for this project, but it’s expected to come out this October and be eligible for the next year’s Academy Awards. Mank is Fincher’s first feature film since 2014 when he released the psychological thriller Gone Girl.
