]]>The new trailer opens with Lady Whistledown’s dramatic narrator, which promises a huge change is on the way: “Dearest gentle reader, we have been apart for far too long. At last, London’s fashionable set has made its return and it seems that our bon ton is moving with the changing tide. So, too, is this author.”
After giving up her crush on Colin, Penelope is determined to move on and find herself a husband. In an attempt to win back her friendship, Colin suggests he could help her out, but he doesn’t seem to be too pleased once his lessons are working better than expected.
Nicola Coughlin and Luke Newton will lead the show’s third season, and they’ll be joined by Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, plus newcomers Daniel Francis, Sam Phillips, and James Phoon.

]]>The next chapter of the Bridgerton story will shift focus to Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton), and it will chronicle their budding romance. They’ll go from friends to lovers when Bridgerton returns for Season 3, according to Netflix’s official synopsis:
“Eager to win back her friendship, Colin offers to mentor Penelope in the ways of confidence to help her find a husband this season. But when his lessons start working a little too well, Colin must grapple with whether his feelings for Penelope are truly just friendly.”
Netflix’s new images offer a glimpse of Penelope and Colin, while also teasing the return of several other characters. Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley) will be back and stronger than ever, while Hannah Dodd will join the series as Francesca Bridgerton, replacing Ruby Stokes.
Ruth Gemmell, Adjoa Andoh, Claudia Jessie, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, and Polly Walker are also among the stars reprising their roles when Bridgerton returns this spring. Season 3 will be split into two parts, set to be released on May 16 and June 13.

Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story premiered on Netflix back in May to positive reviews, and it chronicled the beginning of Queen Charlotte’s marriage to King George and rise to prominence.

]]>Netflix dropped a cheeky video that features several cast members set to appear in Season 2, including the leads Jonathan Bailey and Simone Ashley. They gathered around to read a letter from Lady Whistledown herself, which reveals the show will return on March 25.
Netflix also used this opportunity to drop more details about the plot of Season 2, and here’s what we can expect from it, according to the official logline.
“The second season of Bridgerton follows Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Bailey) as he sets out to find a suitable wife. Driven by his duty to uphold the family name, Anthony’s search for a debutante who meets his impossible standards seems ill-fated until Kate and her younger sister Edwina Sharma arrive from India.”
In addition to Bailey, Claudia Jessie, Luke Newton, Luke Thompson, Nicola Coughlan, Adjoa Andoh, and more are expected to reprise their roles from Season 1.
