]]>“I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” tackles the personal hardships Swift had to face during The Eras Tour, so it was only fitting to use it as a setting for her latest music video. The opening beats of the video show the time-lapse of a stadium before the concert, and we’re later taken behind the scenes to see Swift prepare for the show before hitting the stage and wowing fans from all around the world with her performance.
“I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” follows “Fortnight” ft. Post Malone as the second single from Swift’s latest album The Tortured Poets Department. This record recently clocked in its 15th week atop the Billboard 200 chart, and it previously helped Swift monopolize the first 14 positions of the Billboard Hot 100.
The Eras Tour made history as the highest-grossing tour of all time with over $1 billion in revenue, and Swift will embark on the second North American leg of the tour this fall.

]]>The post Anne Hathaway Lands Lead Role in “Yesteryear” Adaptation appeared first on thestarsworldwide.com.
]]>Yesteryear centers on Natalie, a “trad wife” living on a charming, rustic, and artfully cluttered farm with her handsome cowboy husband and six children. She has a following of eight million people, who don’t know there are nannies and producers helping her behind the scenes, while her kitchen is hiding industrial-grade fridges and ovens.
Things take a wild turn when she wakes up in a life that isn’t hers, only to learn she’s somehow stuck in 1805. She goes from curating photos of homemade sourdough for her Instagram to hauling firewood and handwashing clothes and must figure out a way to get out after becoming pregnant with her new “husband’s” child.
Yesteryear was the subject of a hot summer auction, and Amazon MGM eventually won the bid. Hathaway will produce the project through the Somewhere Pictures banner, alongside Guymon Casady, Suzan Bymel, and Alexandra Holcomb of Entertainment 360.
Hathaway is fresh off starring in another hit Amazon MGM Studios film—the hit romantic comedy The Idea of You. She’s also attached to David Robert Mitchell’s sci-fi film Flowervale Street and David Lowery’s music epic Mother Mary.

]]>According to Searchlight’s official synopsis, A Complete Unknown chronicles “Bob Dylan’s meteoric rise as a folk singer to concert halls and the top of the charts, culminating in his groundbreaking electric rock and roll performance at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965.”
In addition to Chalamet in the lead role, the cast of this biopic will also include Edward Norton as folk singer Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Dylan’s girlfriend Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as his collaborator Joan Baez, Boyd Holbrook as the legendary singer Johnny Cash, Dan Fogler as Dylan’s manager Albert Grossman, and Scoot McNairy as the folk composer Woody Guthrie, among others.
A Complete Unknown is based on Elijah Wald’s book Dylan Goes Electric! and it was adapted for the big screen by Jay Cocks and director James Mangold, who previously directed the Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line. It will be released in the United States this December, but Searchlight Pictures is yet to announce its official release date.

]]>Doherty died at her home in Malibu, California on July 13, and her publicist Leslie Sloane announced the tragic news. She described her as a “devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend” and said she was surrounded by her loved ones and her dog Bowie before she passed away.
Doherty is one of the biggest TV stars of the 90s, and her rise to prominence started with the role of Brenda Walsh on Beverly Hills 90210, which she later reprised in several more projects. She went on to play Prue Halliwell in Charmed, the cult fantasy series she departed at the end of the third season. She also notably starred in TV shows Little House on the Prairie and Our House and films Girls Just Want to Have Fun and Heathers.
Doherty openly spoke about her breast cancer diagnosis since 2015, in an attempt to spread awareness of this disease. Even after her cancer became terminal, she still put a lot of effort into raising funds for cancer research and sharing her story on the Let’s Be Clear podcast.

]]>Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will see three generations of the Deetz family reunited under the same roof after an unexpected family tragedy. Trouble starts when Lydia’s rebellious daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife, and it’s just a matter of time before someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times to bring him back.
Michael Keaton will lead the cast as Beetlejuice, and he’ll be joined by Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, and Jenna Ortega as the Deetz women, plus Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, and Willem Dafoe in supporting roles.
The Venice Film Festival chief Alberto Barbera said they’re proud and honored to host the world premiere of Burton’s next project.
“Beetlejuice Beetlejuice marks the long-awaited return of one of the most iconic characters of Tim Burton’s cinema, but also the happy confirmation of the extraordinary visionary talent and the masterly realization of one of the most fascinating auteurs of his time,” said Barbera in a statement.
The 81st Venice International Film Festival will take place from August 28 to September 7, with French actress Isabelle Huppert serving as the jury president.

]]>The post “Harry Potter” & “Welcome to Derry” Series Will Be HBO Originals appeared first on thestarsworldwide.com.
]]>The blockbuster Harry Potter series and the It prequel Welcome to Derry are three of the shows currently involved in this decision, along with the Green Lantern adaptation Lanterns. It’s too late to go down the same road with some other Warner Bros. tentpole series, including The Penguin and Dune: Prophecy because they’ve already been sold as Max originals overseas.
HBO and Max content CEO Casey Bloys said they decided to make a shift because they approached these projects with the same methods and kind of thinking as other HBO shows.
“What we ended up with is shows at this scope and scale that look great, and great narratives and talent we’ve worked with… For a show that feels big and cinematic, they already are going to make the assumption that it feels like an HBO show. This is just leaning into that,” Bloys told Variety.
All shows involved in Warner Bros. Discovery’s new release strategy will still be streaming on Max following their linear release on HBO.

]]>Spaceballs came out in 1987 and went down in history as one of the most iconic space opera parodies. It primarily poked fun at the original Star Wars trilogy, while also spoofing some of the other iconic sci-fi franchises of that era, such as Star Trek, Alien, and Planet of the Apes.
According to its official logline, the original film followed “a star-pilot for hire and his trusty sidekick [who] must come to the rescue of a princess and save Planet Druidia from the clutches of the evil Spaceballs.”
Bill Pullman, John Candy, Rick Moranis, Daphne Zuniga, Dick Van Patten, George Wyner, and Lorene Yarnell led the cast of the first film in the franchise, but it’s unclear if any of them would reprise their roles. Josh Gad is currently the only actor attached to this project in a mystery role.
He’s also coming on board as one of the producers alongside Mel Brooks, who directed, co-wrote, produced, and starred in the first film. Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez co-wrote the script for the sequel alongside Gad, while Josh Greenbaum will be in charge of directing it.

]]>The post “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” Will Open the 2024 Venice Film Festival appeared first on thestarsworldwide.com.

]]>The post Amazon MGM is Plotting “Spaceballs” Sequel Starring Josh Gad appeared first on thestarsworldwide.com.
